"The Miracle of Fatima" is an original musical created by Barbara Oleynick that tells the story of the 1917 apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima to three shepherd children in Portugal. The musical has been endorsed by leading Fatima authorities including the Rector of the Basilica of Fatima and has been produced globally in English and Spanish languages.  It was workshopped in Portugal in Portuguese in 2004 at the request of the Rector of the Basilica of Fatima.

Barbara Oleynick is the author, composer, and founder of Mother of God Studios. She holds an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts (1999). Her lifelong mission has been sharing the message of Our Lady of Fatima and revealing the divine life of the Virgin Mary through multimedia storytelling.

The English text was translated using DeepL and then each language translation was reviewed and edited by a native speaker. Blessed Is Her Name" is based on the writings of Venerable Sister Mary of Jesus of Ágreda, whose works have been studied and referenced by Catholic theologians for centuries. The Catholic Church has not officially declared the private revelations in The Mystical City of God to be divine truth, but it has approved them for reading, with Popes indirectly approving the work and praising its spiritual value. While the Church does not formally endorse any private revelation, it has implicitly approved of Mary of Jesús of Ágreda's writings because they contain no heresy and have been supported by numerous popes. The work has also been praised for its positive influence on Catholic piety and veneration of the Virgin Mary.

Our Fatima musical has received endorsements from the Rector of the Basilica of Fatima and the International President of the World Apostolate of Fatima.  And a letter of support and appreciation of the work from Pope John Paul II and Sister Maria Lucia.   Barbara had the amazing experience of celebrating mass with Sister at her convent in Coimbra, Portugal in 2002.
