"The Miracle of Fatima" is an original musical created by Barbara Oleynick that tells the story of the 1917 apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima to three shepherd children in Portugal. The musical has been endorsed by leading Fatima authorities including the Rector of the Basilica of Fatima and has been produced globally in English and Spanish languages.  It was workshopped in Portugal in Portuguese in 2004 at the request of the Rector of the Basilica of Fatima.

How did you do all the translations of the book?

The English text was translated using DeepL and then each language translation was reviewed and edited by a native speaker. Barbara's global network of women include: Tagalog - Ranjeeta Bermudez (Philippines); Polish - Marta Maszkiewicz (Poland); Russian - Elena Mpuku; Spanish - Claudia Gonzalez (Dominican Republic) and Portuguese (Brazilian) - Amanda da Costa Feitosa - Brazil and French - Emma-louise Colas (France)

How were all the audiobooks created in the different languages?

Using the online platform - Elevenlabs, Barbara first uploaded the translated script after the final review and editing.  Then carefully listened and chose the various voices available in their collection of voices.  For instance - Rita who is a native Brazilian voice actor has her voice available for use on Elevenlabs.  She became the narrator of both the Brazilian and Spanish audiobook version.  Likewise for the Russian version.   After many trials and errors (too many to count) Barbara used Veronica, a Russian voice actor.  Her voice is the narration in both the Russian and Polish audiobooks.  For Tagalog...that was tricky but Bimba M. became the narrator.  The next step was to "audition" via listening to the several others voices that would be needed to create Mary, Jesus - both as children and adults.  Anne and Joachim, and of course God and Lucifer.  When you listen you will be amazed at the depth of experience each audiobook language offers.

Barbara of course narrates the English version and does all the various characters in Blessed is Her Name.

Blessed Is Her Name" is based on the writings of Venerable Sister Mary of Jesus of Ágreda, whose works have been studied and referenced by Catholic theologians for centuries. The Catholic Church has not officially declared the private revelations in The Mystical City of God to be divine truth, but it has approved them for reading, with Popes indirectly approving the work and praising its spiritual value. While the Church does not formally endorse any private revelation, it has implicitly approved of Mary of Jesús of Ágreda's writings because they contain no heresy and have been supported by numerous popes. The work has also been praised for its positive influence on Catholic piety and veneration of the Virgin Mary.

Our Fatima musical has received endorsements from the Rector of the Basilica of Fatima and the International President of the World Apostolate of Fatima.  And a letter of support and appreciation of the work from Pope John Paul II and Sister Maria Lucia.   Barbara had the amazing experience of celebrating mass with Sister at her convent in Coimbra, Portugal in 2002.
