THE MUSICAL

The Miracle Of Fatima

In 1917, three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal witnessed apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary that changed the course of history. Barbara Oleynick transformed this miraculous story into an original musical — bringing the wonder of Fatima to the stage.

The cast album, songbook with 10 piano/voice selections, and a comprehensive producing guide are all available — empowering parishes, schools, and theatre companies worldwide to stage their own productions.

A MATTER OF FAITH-
THE EVOLUTION OF THE MUSICAL

Randolph and the Fatima children

The Miracle of Fatima began as a musical written for  stage —a work of faith and imagination that brought the message of Fatima to a new generation. A Matter of Faith continues that story in a new way.

In this modern retelling, three young ghosts return to a theater where The Miracle of Fatima is being produced. They reveal themselves to the children in the present‑day cast—and to the bitter owner of the theater, Randolph Swoops, who stopped believing when his prayers for his wife seemed unanswered.

As the children lead Randolph back in time to 1917, the reader (or listener) is drawn into the original Fatima events through scenes from the musical and its songs—until Randolph must decide whether the miracle is truly real.
