A JOURNEY OF FAITH

The Miracle Of Fatima Musical -A Journey Of Faith On Stage

2000 — The Premiere

Our premiere was made possible by the generosity of one individual who provided over $200,000, helping us achieve our goal. The show captivated audiences, selling out 14 shows in the 900-seat Mertens Theater and welcoming over 11,000 attendees.

2001 — Rewrites and New Songs

Refining a production of this scale demanded new resources. A generous couple — moved after seeing only a short clip — contributed $55,000 and even helped build the set in Hartford.

2002 — Recording the Cast Album

Through Father John, a Franciscan friar and former venture capitalist, Barbara met a donor whose $60,000 gift funded the cast album and first CD run. When the CDs debuted in churches at $20 each, some gave as much as $500 — an outpouring of faith and generosity.

2003 — The Tri-state Tour

The tour was funded by the same benefactor who supported the premiere, contributing another $100,000. At the final performance at Sacred Heart University, a woman offered a blank check — 'Write it for up to $10,000 if you'll perform at my parish.' Needless to say, Barbara gladly accepted.

2004 — Portugal

At the invitation of the Rector of the Shrine, the creative team traveled to Portugal to present a workshop in Portuguese — made possible by a $10,000 donation.

2009 — El Milagro de Fatima

Filmed at the National Theater, this Spanish-language production was made possible by a single couple whose $50,000 gift brought El Milagro de Fatima to life.
